Jordan Stephens was named First Team All-Mid-South Conference and Isaac Stephens earns Honorable Mention honors after the conclusion of the 2022-23 regular season. 

Jordan earns First Team honors for the first time in his career after putting together a special season this year. He led Cumberland in scoring this posting 404 points for an average of 15.5 per game. Stephens had double-figure scoring games in all, but four games he played in this season including five 20+ point games and one 30 point games. 

Jordan shot 49.1% from the field this season and made 47 threes for a 39.5% average beyond the arc. His game also elevated this season on the defensive end notching a team-high 48 steals and 13 blocks, third-most on the team. 

Isaac earns Honorable Mention honors making him a three-time All-Conference selection after earning First Team honors last season. This year Isaac made 19 starts missing time with an injury. He averaged 9.6 points per game and 5.7 rebounds. During the final regular season game of the year, Isaac became Cumberland’s All-Time Leading Rebounder in program history as the first player in record to break 700 career rebounds. 

Isaac shot an astounding 64.5% from the field this year while also adding 30 steals. Stephens also earned the distinction of being named to the Mid-Suuth Conference Champions of Character team for the third time in his career.

Cumberland had four players be named to the All Conference Academic team in Tajah Fraley, Ty’Reek Johnson, Nathaniel Hall, and Isaac Stephens. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
