Former Pope John Paul II High School standout Nate Webb and the Belmont Bruins lost 10-8 to the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in an NCAA Division I baseball contest played Tuesday, April 14, at 4 p.m.

E.S. Rose Park hosted the matchup, which marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Bruins edged the Blue Raiders 8-7 in their previous game on Wednesday, March 4.

Webb registered two hits over six at-bats, scoring one run, driving in one run, and recording two strikeouts.

Belmont is set to play its next game Friday, April 17, at E.S. Rose Park against the Evansville Purple Aces.
