Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district, has shared a series of tweets discussing key legislative efforts and economic strategies. Rose, who succeeded Diane Black in 2019, highlighted initiatives aimed at easing financial burdens on families and ensuring electoral integrity.
On July 10, 2025, Congressman Rose tweeted about the financial challenges faced by families due to rising childcare costs. He stated that “Childcare costs are breaking family budgets. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill expands tax credits for working parents and increases childcare options.”
In another tweet from the same day, Rose addressed the nation’s fiscal challenges and his support for measures designed to stimulate economic growth. He remarked that “Robust economic growth will be needed to get our country out of the fiscal hole we’ve dug. It’s why I was proud to support #OB3, which jumpstart that growth.” He also mentioned media figures Matt Murphy and the radio station 997wtn in his message.
Later on July 10th, Congressman Rose emphasized election security through legislative action. He tweeted that “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill ensures election integrity with voter ID requirements, updated voter rolls, and secure ballot processes.”
John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and continues to reside there. An alumnus of Tennessee Technological University (BS) and Vanderbilt University (JD), he has been serving in Congress since 2019.
