Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on January 6, 2026, addressing the passing of a colleague, criticism of the January 6th Committee, and actions related to Nicolás Maduro.
In his first post on January 6, Rose expressed condolences over the death of Representative Doug LaMalfa: “I am devastated by the loss of my friend and colleague, Representative Doug LaMalfa. He was a strong advocate for rural America and our nation’s farmers. He fought for individual liberty and against government overreach. He was a hardworking fourth generation rice farmer and https://t.co/rTCHDZ4lMC” (posted at 15:44 UTC).
Later that day, Rose criticized members of the January 6th Committee in another post: “77 million Americans voted for accountability and justice for the politically driven sham known as the January 6th Unselect Committee. Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Bennie Thompson, and their kangaroo crew lied relentlessly, shredded key evidence, and coached witnesses to perjure https://t.co/cocxp8PpPQ” (posted at 18:53 UTC).
In a third message posted at 20:22 UTC on January 6, Rose commented on actions taken against Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro: “Democrats in Congress don’t want you to remember this: it was Joe Biden who slapped a $25 MILLION bounty on Nicolás Maduro. That reward later doubled to $50 MILLION for info leading to Maduro’s arrest. President Trump captured the thug without costing taxpayers a penny. https://t.co/LBIF62I9ek”.
