Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, has posted a series of statements on social media urging Senate action on election-related legislation and criticizing ongoing political processes.

On February 10, 2026, Rose called for Senate leadership to bring the SAVE (America) Act to the floor. He wrote, “.@LeaderJohnThune, invoke the standing filibuster NOW and force the SAVE (America) Act to the floor. The American people deserve to know which Senators support election integrity and which ones defy the will of 83% of Americans. Let them talk and let them own their vote.”

Later that day, he posted a brief message referencing political obstacles in Washington: “The Swamp is deep, folks.” (February 10, 2026).

On February 11, 2026, Rose continued his criticism of Senate proceedings regarding election measures. He stated, “77 million Americans voted to secure and safeguard US elections, NOT for the stonewalling we’re seeing in the GOP-controlled Senate right now.”

John Rose has represented Tennessee’s 6th District since 2019 after succeeding Diane Black ([source](https://www.congress.gov/member/john-rose/R000609)). Born in Cookeville in 1965, he continues to reside there and holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University.
