Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on November 19, 2025, addressing what he described as financial priorities and constitutional issues within the Senate.
In his first post at 20:50 UTC, Rose wrote: “$10,000,000 for Lindsey Graham and his friends in the Senate, paid for by you, the taxpayer. $0.00 for targeted Catholics, conservative parents at school board meetings, and the thousands of J6ers who were spied on by the same DOJ that targeted these Senators.”
Later that evening at 22:27 UTC, Rose continued his critique of Senate leadership with a direct mention: “It’s clear that @LeaderJohnThune is standing by the corrupt Senate payday provision. That’s why today I introduced House Resolution 892 and explained it on the House floor: 1) Argues the Senate provision unconstitutional, in violation of the 27th Amendment. 2) Authorizes”.
A minute later at 22:28 UTC, Rose emphasized congressional responsibility by stating: “As Members of Congress, the people have entrusted us to be a check on the executive branch. They didn’t send us here to collect checks when the executive oversteps.”
Rose has served as a member of Congress since replacing Diane Black in 2019 and currently resides in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born there in 1965 and is an alumnus of Tennessee Technological University (BS) and Vanderbilt University (JD).
