Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district, highlighted legislative achievements and addressed national issues in a series of posts on September 5, 2025.

In an early afternoon post, Rose commented on crime rates and presidential leadership. He stated, “81% of Americans agree: crime is out of control in our cities. President Trump is the ONLY one with the guts to crack down on crime and keep our neighborhoods safe.” (September 5, 2025).

Later that day, Rose announced the enactment of his recent bill. He wrote, “The President just signed my bill into law. The Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act will finally put an end to the endless spam calls and messages folks get—from the moment they apply for a mortgage. Thank you, Mr. President.” (September 5, 2025).

Continuing on the topic of housing policy, Rose posted another message addressing challenges faced by homebuyers over recent years. He said, “Buying a home is difficult enough, especially after the last four years. But because of @POTUS, we are making it possible to buy a home again—without the hassle.” (September 5, 2025).

John Rose has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Diane Black as representative for Tennessee’s 6th District. Born in Cookeville in 1965 and currently residing there at age 58, he graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1988 and later earned a JD from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
