On August 31, 2025, Rose highlighted a recent event in his district involving a visit from the Secretary of Defense. John Rose has represented Tennessee’s 6th District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Diane Black. Born in Cookeville in 1965, he continues to reside there at age 58. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Tennessee Technological University (1988) and a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University (1993).
