Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted legislative initiatives and economic developments in a series of posts on his official social media account.
On July 18, 2025, Rose promoted new funding for rural communities, stating, “The One, Big, Beautiful Law includes rural development grants that will bring economic opportunities to Tennessee’s smaller communities.”
Later that day, he expressed gratitude to the House Natural Resources Committee for moving forward with one of his legislative proposals. In his post dated July 18, 2025, Rose wrote, “I want to thank the House @NatResources Committee for advancing my bill, the Black Vulture Relief Act this week. Farmers should be able to protect their livestock from these predators without asking the government for permission.”
On July 19, 2025, Rose commented on national economic trends under former President Donald Trump’s administration: “For the first time in years, wages are rising faster than prices. The Trump economy is delivering for working Americans, and this is just the beginning.”
Rose has served as a U.S. Congressman since 2019 after succeeding Diane Black. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and continues to reside there. Rose graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 and later earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
