Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared several policy updates and legislative actions via his official Twitter account.

On July 17, 2025, Rose addressed cryptocurrency regulation and the approach of different presidential administrations. He stated, “The last administration saw cryptocurrency as an opportunity to grow government. President Trump sees it as a chance to grow our economy. The Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act makes it clear that no future administration can decide to target digital assets as a vehicle for spying”.

The following day, on July 18, 2025, Rose commented on recent congressional action regarding federal spending: ” House Republicans just passed a $9 BILLION cut to wasteful spending — and it’s headed to President Trump’s desk. No more: Sesame Street in Iraq Voter ID in Haiti Wind farms in Ukraine Circumcisions & vasectomies in Zambia”.

Later that same day, Rose highlighted new data on border security: “June 2025 marks the LOWEST recorded monthly total of illegal alien border crossings in American history. Even better, Border Patrol didn’t release a single illegal into the U.S. last month. Promises made, promises kept.”

John Rose has served in Congress since replacing Diane Black in 2019 and is known for representing Tennessee’s 6th District (https://bioguide.congress.gov/search/bio/R000609). Born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and currently residing there at age 58, Rose holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University (BS) and Vanderbilt University (JD).
