Congressman John Rose, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets discussing the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” Rose, born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and an alumnus of Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University, emphasized various aspects of this legislative proposal.
On July 3, 2025, Congressman Rose tweeted about infrastructure improvements and border security enhancements included in the bill. He stated that it would provide “new and improved air traffic control towers” and additional Customs and Border Protection officers to handle the increasing number of international passengers entering Nashville. Later that day, Rose highlighted the bill’s economic benefits for American workers. He tweeted that “American workers built this economy,” and noted that the bill would reward them by eliminating taxes on tips and providing substantial relief for the middle class. This statement is available here.
