Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district, has taken to social media to promote a legislative initiative he refers to as “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” In a series of tweets dated July 7, 2025, Rose outlines the bill’s purported benefits and its impact on various sectors.

In his first tweet at 18:20 UTC, Congressman Rose claims that the bill provides what Tennessee families have been seeking: “lower taxes, secure borders, and American energy independence.”

Later that day at 19:14 UTC, Rose highlights specific outcomes attributed to the bill. He states that it has saved “two million family farms from the death tax,” allowed “millions of workers” to retain their tips, and resulted in “billions in energy savings.”

In a subsequent post at 19:49 UTC, Rose addresses immigration issues. He asserts that the bill reveals Democrats’ preference for illegal immigrants over American citizens and emphasizes that changes are being implemented immediately.

John Rose has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Diane Black. Born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965, he still resides there. He holds a BS from Tennessee Technological University and a JD from Vanderbilt University.
