Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on September 2, 2025, to call for prompt action on President Trump’s agenda and highlight recent executive decisions.

Later that day, he commented on a decision by President Trump regarding foreign aid: “President Trump just CANCELLED $4.9B in foreign aid with a pocket rescission. Here’s what was on the American taxpayer’s tab: $24.6M for climate projects in Honduras $2.7M to a South African group publishing racial hot takes $3.9M to promote LGBT democracy in the Balkans” (September 2, 2025).

He concluded his series of posts with another statement emphasizing congressional priorities: “Congress is back and the mandate is clear: advance President Trump’s agenda without delay.” (September 2, 2025).
