Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets advocating for the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” The legislation is positioned as a solution to key national issues such as border security, energy independence, and tax relief.
On July 8, 2025, Congressman Rose tweeted about the importance of these issues: “Border security isn’t optional. Energy independence isn’t negotiable. Tax relief isn’t a luxury. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill makes all three happen immediately.” This statement underscores his commitment to addressing these priorities through legislative action.
Later that day, he further emphasized the bill’s significance by stating: “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill ends the era of America Last policies and begins the era of America First governance. Tennessee families have waited long enough.” His remarks highlight a shift in policy focus towards prioritizing American interests.
In another tweet on July 8th, Congressman Rose questioned current fiscal priorities with a rhetorical inquiry: “Why should hardworking Americans pay more in taxes than they pay for groceries? The One, Big, Beautiful Bill fixes this backwards priority once and for all.” This comment reflects his advocacy for reducing tax burdens on American citizens.
John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a BS in 1988 and earned a JD from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
