Congressman John Rose, who has been serving Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets advocating for the One, Big, Beautiful Bill. Rose, a Cookeville native and graduate of Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University, emphasized the bill’s benefits for farmers and its potential positive impact on the nation.
On July 3, 2025, Congressman Rose expressed his support for the One, Big, Beautiful Bill by stating that it is beneficial both for farmers and for the nation as a whole. He encouraged followers to watch his conversation with Putnam Co. Farm Bureau Agent Phillip Baker about the bill’s advantages “here”.
In another tweet on July 3, 2025, Rose criticized Congressional Democrats for blocking the passage of this bill. He suggested that they should consider listening to job creators and workers rather than activists “instead”.
Later that day, he reiterated his stance by asserting that Americans voted for tangible results instead of empty promises. According to him, the One, Big, Beautiful Bill offers real solutions aimed at supporting working families across Tennessee “across Tennessee”.
John Rose has been an active advocate in Congress since succeeding Diane Black in 2019. At age 58, he continues to reside in his birthplace of Cookeville while representing his constituents in Washington D.C.
