Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th District since 2019, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting his support for what he describes as the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” This proposed legislation aligns with promises made by former President Donald Trump to deliver tax relief.

On July 2, 2025, Congressman Rose tweeted about the bill: “President Trump promised tax relief. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill keeps that promise.” This tweet suggests that the proposed bill aims to fulfill commitments from Trump’s administration regarding financial policy.

In another tweet posted on July 2, 2025, at 22:30 UTC, Rose emphasized the perceived excessive taxation in Washington and suggested that this bill could address those concerns. He stated: “Washington takes too much of your money. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill takes steps toward solving that problem.”

Further detailing specific provisions of the bill in a subsequent tweet on July 2 at 23:00 UTC, Rose highlighted several key points aimed at reducing taxes for different groups. He wrote: “No tax on tips. No tax on overtime. Significant tax relief for seniors. Let’s get it done!” These components are intended to provide direct financial benefits to workers receiving tips and overtime pay and offer significant relief to senior citizens.

John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and has been serving his community both locally and nationally after earning degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University.
