Congressman John Rose, who represents Tennessee’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media account on November 4, 2025, to comment on issues related to SNAP enrollment and government shutdown activities.
In a post made at 17:20 UTC, Rose wrote: “SNAP enrollment jumped 40% under President Biden. Now, thanks to @SecRollins, we’re learning that tens of thousands of those enrollees were ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Later that day at 19:03 UTC, he stated: “Democrats are jeopardizing they safety of our skies just to give illegal immigrants FREE healthcare.

At 23:01 UTC on the same day, Rose responded to an unspecified statement with: “WRONG.

John Rose has served as a member of Congress since replacing Diane Black in 2019 and is known for his involvement with local community initiatives and legislative matters affecting Tennessee’s 6th District. Born in Cookeville in 1965 and currently residing there, Rose graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a BS in 1988 and later earned a JD from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
