Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, has taken to social media to discuss the impact of “The One, Big, Beautiful Law” on various aspects of life in Tennessee. Rose, who was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University, has been serving in Congress after succeeding Diane Black.
On July 11, 2025, Congressman Rose posted that “The One, Big, Beautiful Law eliminates the marriage penalty that punishes Tennessee couples for building strong families. Love shouldn’t cost more in taxes.” This statement highlights his support for legislation aimed at reducing financial burdens on married couples.
In another post on the same day, Rose emphasized child protection measures by stating that “The One, Big, Beautiful Law protects Tennessee children with secure borders, safer schools, and parents’ rights to guide their education and values.” The congressman points out his commitment to ensuring safety and educational rights for children.
Further addressing infrastructure concerns, Rose mentioned the importance of investing in transport networks. He noted that “Tennessee truckers move America’s economy every day. The One, Big, Beautiful Law invests in real infrastructure—roads, bridges, and freight networks that work.” His statement underscores a focus on supporting essential transportation frameworks vital for economic activity.
