Congressman John Rose, who has represented Tennessee’s 6th District since 2019, recently took to social media to discuss the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” This legislation aims to address several key issues impacting his constituents and broader national concerns.

On July 3, 2025, Congressman Rose stated that “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill ends the assault on American coal and gives our miners the respect and jobs they deserve.” This statement highlights the bill’s focus on revitalizing the coal industry and supporting coal miners.

In another post made shortly after on the same day, Rose emphasized the economic benefits of the bill for his home state. He wrote that “From farm to factory, the One, Big, Beautiful Bill strengthens every part of Tennessee’s economy with smart policies and fiscal responsibility.” The tweet suggests a comprehensive approach to economic development across various sectors in Tennessee.

Later that day, Congressman Rose addressed border security as a priority within the bill. He declared that “Border security isn’t negotiable. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill provides the resources and policies needed to keep Tennessee families safe.” This indicates a commitment to enhancing security measures through legislative action.

John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree and later earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
