On May 21, Congressman Rose emphasized the importance of addressing government inefficiencies to sustain economic growth. He stated that “Eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse will allow us to make the 2017 tax cuts permanent to provide certainty and stability for job creators. This will feed a growing economy.”
The following day, May 22, he shared insights from his interactions with constituents in Tennessee as Congress approached a vote on reconciliation. Rose noted that “Tennesseans are fed up with reckless spending and crushing national debt,” adding that they desire a president capable of fulfilling campaign promises.
Later that morning, Congressman Rose expressed support for legislation aligned with former President Trump’s policies. Congressman John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and currently resides there. He holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University.
