Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, has been vocal on several issues through his social media posts. Born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965, Rose holds a BS from Tennessee Technological University and a JD from Vanderbilt University.
On May 14, 2025, Congressman Rose expressed his support for law enforcement during Police Week. He stated: “This #PoliceWeek, we honor the brave men and women in blue who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. Law enforcement deserves our respect, support, and gratitude — not vilification. #BackTheBlue”.
In another tweet dated May 16, 2025, Rose addressed the Covenant School shooting evidence: “After having read through 2,000+ pages of evidence relating to the Covenant School shooting, I remain convinced that there is no good justification for keeping most of the evidence from the public square.” He also praised President Biden and FBI Director Kash Patel for their efforts to restore trust.
Later on May 16, he emphasized legislative action by urging codification of executive orders into law: “The American people gave @POTUS a mandate. It’s time to codify his Executive Order’s into law.”
Congressman John Rose has been an advocate for transparency and law enforcement support while actively participating in discussions about legislative processes.
