Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, shared his views on recent legislative developments via social media. Known for his advocacy in fiscal policy and governance, Rose has been vocal about a new bill proposed by the President.

On June 20, 2025, Congressman Rose tweeted “.@POTUS’ bill rewards states that run programs the way the law intended — and cuts off the ones running open tabs with taxpayer money.” The post reflects his stance on ensuring that federal funds are used responsibly by state governments.

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, he expressed urgency and determination regarding legislative action: “One shot. One bill. One chance to restore sanity. Let’s get it done.” This statement underscores his commitment to what he perceives as necessary fiscal reforms.

Later that day, Rose further commented on the significance of the proposed legislation with another tweet: “.@POTUS’ One, Big, Beautiful Bill is the BIGGEST spending cut in U.S. history. Period.” This indicates his support for substantial reductions in government expenditure.

Congressman John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and currently resides there. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 and later earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
