Congressman John Rose, representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, has been vocal about various national issues through his social media presence. On May 12 and May 13, 2025, he shared insights into the impact of policies on agriculture, inflation rates, and international diplomacy.
On May 12, Congressman Rose highlighted the optimism among farmers regarding President Trump’s tariffs. He tweeted that “Inflation just hit its LOWEST point in four years.” He noted reductions in prices for gas, groceries, and eggs as evidence of relief brought about by what he describes as the “America First agenda.”
Later on May 13, Congressman Rose outlined several achievements attributed to President Trump over the week. According to his post “This week,” notable accomplishments included brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, signing an executive order to reduce drug prices significantly, securing freedom for an American held hostage by Hamas, negotiating a trade agreement with China deemed historic, and obtaining $600 billion in investments from Saudi Arabia.
