Congressman John Rose, who has been representing Tennessee’s 6th district since 2019, recently expressed his support for the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” through a series of tweets. Born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965, Rose has a background in agriculture and law with degrees from Tennessee Technological University and Vanderbilt University.

On July 2, 2025, Congressman Rose posted about the importance of protecting family farms from the impact of the death tax. He stated that “Family farms shouldn’t be destroyed by the death tax. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill protects 2 million family-owned operations so they can pass their legacy to the next generation.”

Later that day, he highlighted economic benefits for families in Tennessee. In his words: “Every Tennessee family deserves lower taxes, better jobs, and economic opportunity. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill delivers all three.” This statement was made at 21:00 UTC on July 2.

At 21:30 UTC on the same day, Congressman Rose emphasized a straightforward equation linking the bill to economic prosperity for Tennessee. He tweeted: “The math is simple: One, Big, Beautiful Bill = Lower taxes + Higher paychecks. Tennessee wins.”

Congressman John Rose continues to advocate for legislative measures aimed at enhancing economic opportunities for his constituents while safeguarding their agricultural heritage.
