He stated: “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill delivers real tax relief: No tax on tips 100% immediate business expensing Permanent small business deduction Tennessee families deserve to keep more of what they earn.”
Later that day, at 18:30 UTC, he questioned the fairness of taxing servers’ tips in another tweet. He emphasized the importance of returning money to workers by stating: “Why should hardworking servers pay taxes on their tips? The One, Big, Beautiful Bill puts money back in workers’ pockets where it belongs.”

John Rose was born in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1965 and continues to reside there. He holds a BS from Tennessee Technological University and a JD from Vanderbilt University.
