On Tuesday, March 11, former Hendersonville High School standout Chase Nelson’s current college team, the Troy Trojans, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.

The game took place at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Gamecocks this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
