On Sunday, March 23, former Pope John Paul Ii High School standout Dominic Pianto’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The game took place at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. This was their third matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at Frank Eck Stadium against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
