On Friday, March 7, former Pope John Paul Ii High School standout Samuel Jackson’s current college team, the North Park Vikings, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marian Sabres.
The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Sabres this season.
The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Aurora Spartans.
