On Saturday, March 29, former Pope John Paul Ii High School standout Chet Lax’s current college team, the Wright State Raiders, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.
The game took place at Nischwitz Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Penguins this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at J. Page Hayden Field against Xavier Musketeers.
