Welch College enrolls 375 undergrads

At Welch College, 80 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Gallatin enrolled 403 students in fall 2018, including 375 in undergraduate and 28 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of Tennessee, and 47 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (85 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).
