The national weather service in Nashville has issued a tornado watch for Trousdale county until 10 PM Wednesday, April 13th. A Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadic development in our area. This means that you need to prepare now a plan for you and your family in case a tornado warning is issued for our community.
If a tornado warning is issued ensure that you seek shelter in the most interior room of your residence. If you live in a mobile home it would be advisable to seek shelter with friends and family.
Again, this is a tornado watch meaning conditions are favorable for tornado development. This is not a tornado warning.
