Thursday, June 2nd about 2:17 pm, A Deputy Sheriff patrolling Harris Branch Rd / and Hwy 141 N, saw a car with Kentucky tags traveling at a high rate of speed and passing in a no passing zone. The Deputy tried to stop the car. The driver fled north on Hwy 141. The driver lost control, went down an embankment and flipped several times. The car came to rest in a pasture. The female passenger was treated by EMS at the scene. The driver, that refused to stop, had warrants out of Macon County. The driver was transported to Sumner Regional. He was treated and released. The driver was transported to the Trousdale Co Jail. He was booked for Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment and Driving on Suspended. A hearing will be held in General Sessions Court July 22nd.
