Citizens please be aware of a scam requesting for payment of medical bills and threatening to send you to a collection agency if not paid. We urge citizens to make sure that you contact your medical care provider regarding any payments owed, before paying anyone over the telephone. If you receive one of these calls, please do not disclose any information and contact the Sheriff’s Department at 615-374-3994.
