Sumner County Sheriff's Office Animal Control Division had the Pleasure of Visiting with Oakmont Elementary

Sumner County Animal Control had the pleasure of visiting with Oakmont Elementary this morning with a real life Burro, named Rosie!

The first graders across Sumner County have been reading the book “Waiting for the Biblioburro” as part of their curriculum. We went to visit and read this book to them with Rosie to bring the story to life. The kids and staff had a blast!

BIG thank you to the staff, SRO Deputy Warner, and Heather with Lucky Farms Animal Rescue for helping us plan and make this fun day happen!
