Collegedale Police Department The Daily Highlight Report Tuesday, September 27, 2022

Officers responded to a residential alarm in the West District. Everything checked out ok. 

Collegedale police assisted Chattanooga police with a crash involving injuries in the 9300 block of Lee Highway. 

A Southern Adventist University student was charged after assaulting their roommate in the South District. 

A traffic stop in the 9200 block of Lee Highway led to the occupant’s arrest for an active warrant out of Soddy Daisy. They were transported to the jail. 

A two vehicle crash was reported in the 4700 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. There were no injuries. 

Collegedale police assisted the Tri-Community Fire Department with a vehicle trailer hauling hay bails that had caught on fire in the 4800 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. The road was shut down due to the fire and after several hours the roadway was opened back up. There were no injuries. 

Police responded to an East District residence for suspicious persons on the property. The individuals were confirmed to be bounty hunters looking for a former resident. 

A disorder at a West District business was called in when a temporary employee refused to leave the business’s property after closing time. Officers were able to peacefully resolve the situation. 

A traffic stop in the 9000 block of Lee Highway led to the driver’s arrest for multiple felony counts of drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of child abuse and neglect, and driving on a revoked license.
