Lady Flames Volleyball player Ashleigh Sage was named NCCAA D2 volleyball player of the week. Ashleigh helped the Lady Flames go 3-1 last week. In three of the matches, she had 11 Kills or more and had 21 blocks for the week.
Mitchell Moody was named NCCAA D2 Cross Country runner of the week. Mitchell won the first Welch College invitational race that was held on the campus. His official time was 31:18 which was 6:23 per mile. Mitchell has also qualified for the national race for the 4th year in a row.
