Welch College is looking to hire a full-time administrative assistant who will fill responsibilities in the School of Education (primary) and the Academic Office (secondary). The bulk of this position will involve responsibilities in the School of Education. As Licensure Officer and Administrative Assistant for Teacher Education the individual will work with the Undergraduate Dean of Education to track institutional compliance with the state board of education licensure division and accreditation agency standards (undergraduate and graduate), submit state reports and licensure certifications (undergraduate and graduate), and serve in an advising role to non-traditional Teacher Education students. As Administrative Assistant for the graduate program the individual will work with the Graduate Dean of Education to assist in office and advising duties related to the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Finally, the individual will provide limited administrative support to the Academic Office.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, word processing skills (45 words-per-minute), and familiarity with Excel.
