Leading Rhodes to its best start in decades, Essick was named SAA player of the week for the second time this season. He averaged 19 points and five rebounds in a pair of games at the Rhodes Holiday Classic. The senior netted 25 points on 10-of-12 shooting while also grabbing six rebounds in a win over Huntingdon. The next day, Essick tallied 13 points and four rebounds against Loras.
