Vol State Professor, Dr. Jonathan Kenigson, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from AmeriCorps and the President of the United States office for his lifetime commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service. Anne-Marie McKee, Ed.D., A.V.P. of Student Services says, "I nominated Jonathan Kenigson for the President’s Volunteer Service Award because he provides countless hours of free tutoring outside his regular work schedule. To Dr. Kenigson, there is no five-day workweek; instead, he focuses on student success. Dr. Kenigson helps students understand a complex subject and significantly impacts students’ academic journeys."
