Tennessee Tech softball closed out its action at the Jane B. Moore Memorial on Sunday, falling 8-0 to South Alabama and 5-1 against Bowling Green.
Tech (1-15) collected two hits against the Jaguars (13-7) as Jordynn Shirley had a single and Nicolle Nysted, who was named to the event's All-Tournament team, hit a double.
South Alabama scored one run in the first, three in the second and four in the fifth to force the run rule.
Kaylan Cole took the loss, allowing eight runs – four earned – on nine hits, walking six and striking out one.
Against the Falcons (7-11), Tech scored a run in the sixth inning as Carmen Betts scored on an error by the Bowling Green first baseman.
The Golden Eagles had six hits in the game, with Abby Shoulders and Betts each collected two, while Tristen Head and Jordan Key each picked up one.
Gracelyn Woolen allowed four runs on six hits in three innings with a strikeout, while Callie Piper allowed an unearned run on four hits with two walks over the last four frames.
